Hello, families!
This year at Casal Català de Viena we are very excited because...
we are celebrating our first Chestnut Festival together!
We want to bring a piece of the Catalan autumn to Vienna — with the smell of roasted chestnuts, sweet potatoes and sweet potatoes — and, above all, with lots of joy, warmth and tradition. 🍁
What are we going to do?
We are going to get our hands on the dough!
-> Each family must bring ready-made panellet dough, and also some decoration (pine nuts, almonds, coconut, cherries, chocolate...).
Thus, the boys and girls will be able to make and decorate their own panels right there, and then we bake them in the WUK oven! 👩🍳👨🍳
We will also have a good snack together!
Bring chestnuts, sweet potatoes, and if you want, some muscatel to toast.
And if you have flags or decorations Catalanes, bring them to add color and make the room feel right at home! (well... Catalan, but in Vienna 😉)
The idea is to spend an afternoon together, sharing traditions, laughter and flavors of home. Let the little ones experience the magic of the Chestnut, and let the adults relive it here, in our own way.
