💖 The opening of the festival is always a special evening when we get together after a long time, meet old familiar faces and once again taste the unique Pride atmosphere, which we missed so much all year. You can expect an evening full of cult hits and personalities who co-create (not only) the Czech queer scene - from club and drag matadorism to newly born stars. The evening is accompanied by the charismatic Jan Witek.
🔥 We start at 17:30 with a pair of seasoned DJ veterans. DJ Henriette is the founder of the Freedom Night project, which has been shining on the Czech club scene since 2004 and regularly returns to the Prague Pride Festival stage. Alongside her will be DJ Vilém, one of the longest playing house DJs in the Czech Republic, whose career began in 1992 at the legendary club Radost FX. His sets are famous for live music on stage.
🔥 At 19:00 the mother of Czech drag, Chi Chi Tornado, will take her turn - a cult figure of the Czech travesti & drag scene with an unmistakable expression, sense of recession and love for the show. A creature whose life he would sell for a proper bestseller.
🔥 At 19:15 we will welcome Chica Checa Pala Santa – the drag persona of award-winning actor Jan Cina, who was created during the filming of Šimon Holý's new film Chica Checa. He will guide you through his world, behind the scenes of the film and through his own desires. There will be dancing — and who knows what else.
🔥 At 19:45, singer and musical actor Laco Hudec Šubrt will arrive from Bratislava to introduce us to his unique drag persona Laziza Vuitton - he is a being who is not just a performer, but an experience. She was born from glitter, grew from applause and lives for the moments she breathes with her audience. Bold, loud, unmistakable.
🔥The evening will end with a special set by DJ Jan Witko from 20:00 – a musical odyssey of Divas & Icons, which pays tribute to the queens and kings of pop shaping queer culture across the decades. From Madonna, Cher and George Michael to Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan and Troye Sivan.

Expect an evening packed with iconic music and outstanding performers who have shaped—and continue to shape—the Czech queer scene, from legendary club and drag icons to exciting new stars. Your host for the evening is the charismatic Jan Witek.
🔥 The program begins at 5:30 PM with two true veterans of the Czech club scene. DJ Henriette, founder of the legendary Freedom Night and a regular Prague Pride Festival favorite since 2004, will be joined by DJ Vilém, one of the country's longest-performing house DJs. He launched his career in the iconic Radost FX club in 1992 and is known for his energetic sets featuring live musicians on stage.
🔥 At 7:00 PM, the stage belongs to Chi Chi Tornado, the mother of Czech drag. A legendary figure of the Czech drag and travesti scene, Chi Chi is celebrated for her unmistakable style, sharp wit, and love of spectacular entertainment. A true icon whose life story could fill a bestselling memoir.
🔥 At 7:15 PM, we'll welcome Chica Checa Pala Santa, the drag persona of award-winning actor Jan Cina, created for Šimon Holý's new film Chica Checa. Expect an intimate glimpse into her world, the making of the film, and the dreams that brought her to life. There will be dancing—and who knows what else.
🔥 At 7:45 PM, singer and musical theater performer Laco Hudec Šubrt arrives from Bratislava to introduce Laziza Vuitton, a drag persona that is more than a performer—it's an experience. Born from glitter, raised by applause, and living for the moments shared with the audience, Laziza is bold, glamorous, unforgettable.
🔥 From 8:00 PM, Jan Witek returns behind the decks with a special DJ set, Divas & Icons—a musical journey celebrating the queens and kings of pop who have shaped queer culture across generations. From Madonna, Cher, and George Michael to Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, and Troye Sivan.
