Cathrin Pfeifer: „Wege in der Schwebe“

With her multifaceted accordion playing, Cathrin Pfeifer takes you into a world between neoclassical, imaginary folklore and minimal music. She creates complex soundscapes live - sometimes poetic, sometimes powerful. With her very own sound, she wins over even stubborn accordion skeptics as fans. In her modern accordion playing she combines complex rhythms with jazzy arrangements, improvisations with surprising live sampling. She has already played concerts from Brazil to Hong Kong, Mozambique to Siberia and has released eight CDs.
