About event
The popular Slovak novelist Márius Kopcsay wrote his latest eleventh book, the novel Dedo Lužko, which was published by KK Bagala, for eight years and has 528 pages.
Come and listen to excerpts presented by the author on Sunday, December 22.
DEDO LUŽKO
A novel about the harmony and contrast of different worlds.
Dedo Lužko is a man of the twentieth century, he lived in uniforms all his life, all regimes. Karol, his grandson, grew up during normalization and early capitalism.
Dedoluško was forever young. Kajoluško has been old since childhood.
Dedoluško felt fulfilled and satisfied, although he lived in a world of unfreedom. Kajoluško lives freely, yet he experiences one frustration after another.
Dedoluško was a moral person, although he served an immoral system. Kajoluško longs for a just society, but he himself commits mistakes.
How will it turn out? And where did the yellow bag go?
