A one -day seminar in Prague:
Prepare for situations from breeding practice! We will show you how to safely and efficiently feed guinea pigs, be it adults with insufficient food intake or chicks that do not receive enough breast milk. You will learn how to properly administer drugs and what to avoid when handling them. At the same time, we will tell you what basic aids you should not miss to be prepared for normal situations. You will learn to recognize and solve ovarian cysts in time, which are among the most common health problems of females. In addition, thanks to the knowledge of the genital system of the male and the female, you will be able to correctly determine the sex, understand its functions and better solve any complications. You will learn when and why perform castration, why it is sometimes necessary, what it has advantages and what to watch out for during convalescence. Last but not least, you will get valuable information about the female toxemia to be able to recognize its symptoms and apply effective prevention. You will learn how to achieve optimal condition and health, why hair care is crucial and how balanced nutrition can affect the overall appearance of the animal. You will learn to recognize the ideal exterior according to the standards and find out what frequent shortcomings can unnecessarily reduce the evaluation. Finally, we will show you practical examples - what is really right, what seems to be right at first glance and why some animals at exhibitions do not stand as we would expect. This lecture will therefore prepare you not only in theoretical but also practical aspects so that you can lead your guinea pigs to success.
