About event
✨ CED TALKS: Collective lead / Collective Leadership in cooperation with the Festival of Theater World Brno 2025 will take place on May 22 at 16:00 on the cellar scene in Brno. The debate will take place in English without interpreting (on the spot the possibility of subtitling on the phone). Yet this phenomenon is still perceived as something strange or even unimaginable. This time, CED Talks, together with the presenter, dramaturge Sodja Lotker, will think about questions and themes related to shared responsibility and practical administrative problems, but focus primarily on creating space for more votes, "shared thinking" that can be perceived positively. How to deal with the common “we” in highly individualized culture? And what are the obstacles we need to face to achieve collectivity? Wien
The current artistic leadership of Schauspielhaus Wien provides space for sharing diverse stories and approaches and creates conditions for political, supporting and diverse theater of strong expressive forms, which is focused locally and cooperates at the international level. Marie Bues, Martina Grohmann, Tobias Herzberg and Mazlum Nergiz want to be an open lead by an educational institution thinking and performing inclusive, feminist, anti -rarasist and environmentally sustainably.
Mazlum Nergiz was born in 1991 in the Turkish Diyarbakır, writes theater games, prose and essays. He studied cultural anthropology, comparative literature, media art and theater in Berlin, Weimar and Amsterdam. His game "COMA" was awarded Hans Gratzer's scholarship in 2021, awarded by Schauspielhaus Wien. He worked as a director in Schauspiel Hannover and together with Enis Maci in Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. Since the 2023/24 season, Schauspielhaus Wien has been part of the art leadership. His game "Am Fluss" directed by Christiane Posle premiered on November 30, 2024. To this end, it creates a wide range of supportive challenges and programs that serve as a support for artists and independent cultural entities without permanent space.
Co.labs works as a shared space not only for the process of creation and work, but also for presentation, self -development and mutual cooperation. In addition to this support role, it realizes its own curatorial concept focused on authorial projects in the field of contemporary performative, musical and fine arts, as well as social engagement.
Since its inception, Co.labs have been led collectively: Alexandra Bolfová, Juraj Augustín, Klaudia Klembarová and Simona Augustín. The platform openly articulates and promotes the principles of horizontal organizational structures and collective processes within management and everyday operation.
Klaudia Klembarová is a cultural manager and project coordinator operating in Brno. She graduated from art studies and management in culture at Masaryk University. She played a key role in the team in shaping the independent art scene around the BUNEATAT Theater, which later developed the Co.labs Cultural Center.
Klaudia cooperates with various artistic and creative teams, including a performative platform of the aversion_ or creative team. In addition, it focuses on the coordination and preparation of the Film and Architecture festival in Brno. It also works closely with artists on diverse projects.
In Co.labs, it focuses on strategic planning and international activities, strengthening ties and supporting cooperation within the Brno communities and creative scene.
