About event
Nearly 100 members of one of the best Slovak churches will bring the top work of choral art and Capella a nationwide vigil, op. 37 Sergei Rachmaninova. The composer was inspired by liturgical singing of Orthodox worship. In one of the parts, they even stand around listeners to enhance the perception of piercing music. There are several passages in which singers are divided into twelve voice groups. Rachmaninov offers a magic-mystery musical unit. The work was created during the 1st World War and in the congregation, members are singing not only from Slovakia, but also from Russia, Ukraine, Serbia and Austria. The main mission of his launch is the faith in the more friendly and better world and belief in the power of collective energy.
