About event
After a successful tour in 2025, Celtic Legends are returning to Slovakia with their energetic show full of Irish music and dance. This time they will perform in April 2026 in only four cities - in Bratislava, Žilina, Trenčín and Liptovský Mikuláš.
Celtic Legends originate from the wild and beautiful Connemara region in Ireland and have been traveling all over the world since their inception. Combining live music, dance and song, their performance reverently captures the culture and ancient history of Ireland. The result is a captivating atmosphere that transports the audience directly to the heart of Ireland - to its country, music, pubs and culture.
Irish dancing has been making a big comeback in recent years. The traditional dance elements make the show more authentic, the dancers and musicians are more creative and dynamic, the audience is more involved – and everyone leaves feeling like they were part of something special. It also gives him a better understanding of what Ireland really is.
All Celtic Legends dancers have competed internationally from a young age and have won numerous awards, including world championship titles. The musicians are among the world's best - they stand out with their virtuoso playing and unrivaled love for their art.
Choreographer Jacintha Sharpe, a recognized expert with rich experience, has selected the best of all performances and created a dynamic, lively and engaging style of Irish dance. This motivated her to join Celtic Legends. She designed traditional choreographies that fit perfectly with the live stage sound of the musicians. Intricate group numbers complement the freer solos that have become hits of the show.
Celtic Legends Musical Director, Seán McCarthy, is widely regarded as one of the best players of the Irish uilleann pipes in the world. Seán has won the Uilleann Pipes All-Ireland title six times.
Let yourself be drawn into the atmosphere of a unique Irish show - traditional, lively and spectacular, which will enchant you with its energy and authenticity.
