About event
Ceremony for the Earth — a bioregional activation
Voedselpark Amsterdam × the North Sea Bioregion × Four Worlds Europe
Sunflower Protest | Ruigoord — Re_Nature Festival | 20–21 September 2025
Submitted by: Voedselpark Amsterdam, representatives of the Frisii | North Sea Bioregion
With gratitude, we gather during the Re_Nature Festival in Ruigoord, a jewel of the North Sea bioregion, to celebrate Earth, Water, and community. As the Frisii — the original coastal peoples around the North Sea — we warmly welcome you. Join our Ceremony of the Earth, stand with Voedselpark Amsterdam for the protection of fertile, clean soil of inestimable value by joining the Sunflower Protest, and sign the North Sea Bioregion Proclamation.
We honor the Four elements, and we bring coals from the 8th Fire.
In this way, we bring a ceremonial action that connects truth, compassion, and regeneration: the Sunflower Protest. We stand for the protection of the entire Lutkemeerpolder and for bioregional restoration. Ruigoord and Lutkemeer are gathering places that choose the power of Life; this festival connects regenerative green frontrunners in our North Sea bioregion.
