Cerys Hafana

Cerys Hafana is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Wales. She transforms traditional music and combines this with the unique properties of the Welsh triple harp. Her second album Edyf was selected as one of the top 10 folk albums of 2022 by The Guardian. This album is largely based on material found in the Welsh National Library's online archive including ancient psalm melodies, hymns and philosophical findings about time and eternity. With her musical skills and artistic vision, Cerys brings these age-old sounds to life in a contemporary and enchanting way.
