About event
Unitarianism is a religious and philosophical movement that has its roots in late antiquity, and which separated from the Reformation process in the middle of the 16th century. The author of the lecture, historian and genealogist Tomáš Herajt, will focus primarily on the establishment of the Unitarian religious society UNITARIA in Czechoslovakia after the First World War. However, he will also introduce us to important personalities of Czechoslovak Unitarianism and present possible genealogical sources related to the activities of this religious society.
The lecture from the Genealogy+ series is organized by the National Library of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Czech Genealogical and Heraldic Society in Prague.
