About event
The First World War ended in November 1918, but that did not mean that there was a full -fledged peace. In this critical period, Czechoslovakia had to defend several times and promote its interests on its own territory and towards neighboring countries. This lecture will outline the meaning and ways of anchoring the Republic in the emerging anti -provisionist coalition of states, led by France. He will also discuss the military security of the claimed boundaries, the conflict in the Těšín region, the war with the Hungarian Republic of Council and the reaction of the political elites of the nations of the new state.
