The road to the kingdom of Mustang - once an independent Himalayan kingdom in the north of Nepal - leads through the valley of the Kali Gandaki river along one of the oldest trade routes of the Himalayas.
During 13 days we will find ourselves as if we were in the Middle Ages: without signal, electricity and the modern world, on the legendary "Salt Road", which caravans traveled between Tibet and India for centuries, exchanging Tibetan salt for grain. and other goods.
The journey takes us to the Tibetan border through a land of preserved Tibetan culture, Buddhist monasteries and wind-sculpted desert scenery hidden in the rain shadow of the Himalayas. Mustang was closed to foreigners until 1992, thanks to which it has preserved the authentic atmosphere of the "forbidden kingdom". flags above the mountain villages and one has the floor of a gigantic Himalayan canyon under one's feet and in front of one the horizons of one of the most remote regions of the planet.
