Puppets in the Hospital - Journey to Christmas
Let yourself be carried away by the story of the creation of the world and the birth of Jesus, which comes to life in the new production of the Puppets in the Hospital ensemble.
The audience together with the actors and puppets they travel, just like in the old baroque plays, through biblical stories until they arrive at Christmas together. To this year's ones, under the tree, where the Nativity scene is still hidden, and where on Christmas Day we find the true meaning of Christmas.
Under the tree, which is reflected in the colorful stained-glass windows of festively decorated churches and in the windows of our living rooms. with acting. The show will feature live music and the singing of traditional carols and original Christmas songs. The theater will become a universe in which the past and the present will intertwine into a joyous look forward to Christmas this year.
The show is intended for family audiences and children from 5 years of age.

Cesta do Vánoc is a production of the Loutky troupe in hospital and the Center of Czech Puppetry. Regular members of the ensemble, often recent graduates of the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theater of the Theater Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, collaborate on the performance.
The Puppets in the Hospital Ensemble has been helping hospitalized children through puppet shows for 19 years they laughed. Annually, it carries out more than 1,200 visits to the sick and elderly in hospitals and treatment centers throughout the country. This season, he is a guest in Prague at the Dejvické Theater.
This year's two performances of the Journey to Christmas at the Dejvická Theater in Prague are dedicated not only to all regular visitors of children's Sunday performances, but also directly to children who have been or are being hospitalized in medical facilities, their loved ones and the medical professionals who help them. We see them regularly, in all Prague hospitals, and we would like to be able to say to them during our visits: "We'll see each other in the theater!"
