About event
After the successful first year of the course Path to the exam according to the IRO examination regulations, I decided to repeat the course in 2025, in response to numerous requests. Another reason for repeating is the new IRO examination regulations, which enter into force on 1 January 2025. several changes - some exercises are changed, others are deleted and others are newly included, so we have a lot of work ahead of us.
I am a first year started in the spring of 2024, and it culminated in the autumn trials at Londonka and Spáleniště, where the participants rightfully reaped the fruits of their long-term efforts.
This course is followed by an ongoing program that will lead you to the autumn trials. systematic, persistent and long-term work. That's why I prepared a comprehensive course of obedience and skills, which will lead you step by step to the autumn exams at London, organized by ZBKHK.
I. The course will be led by
Martin Brandner – I have been training rescue dogs since 2005. I have repeatedly passed the highest exams with my dogs and was the holder of the Certificate of the Ministry of the Interior (MV) in rubble and area search.
He started In 2005, I was with the labrador Bára, with whom I passed the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic 6 times and the IRO exams in rubble and area search in grades E, A and B. In 2012, Gina (Chesapeake Bay retriever) followed up on Bár, with whom I mainly focused on area searches according to IRO. With Gina, we passed the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic 3 times in area search, achieved the highest RH-FLB exam 10 times and participated in international competitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. After Gina's retirement from cynology, Adélka (Laekenois) joined, who achieved her greatest successes in general searches. The newest reinforcement in training is the female Roseberry, a cross between a Czech Fuchs and a retriever. With Roseberry, I am preparing for exams according to IRO in area and rubble search. In addition, I practice Obedience, Dog Dancing and Nosework with her, in which she has already managed to pass the Uz, Nz, Dz, Wz, N1 and U1 exams.
In 2013, I founded a school not only for dogs with called SAR-DOG.CZ (Search And Rescue Dog). In more than 10 years, hundreds of dogs passed through our school, dozens of which successfully passed the exams, including the highest ones. In cooperation with the Rescue Brigade of Cynologists of the Hradec Králové Region, we organized dozens of national tests according to IRO standards.
In recent years, we have also organized the Fitmin Dog Summer Games. Every year, our school organizes hundreds of training sessions and at least 10 weekly training camps throughout the year. From 2022, we expanded our activities into the online space as well.
In the same year, we launched the Hledání psího svět (HPS) project, the aim of which is to spread awareness about the workings of the dog's mind. In HPS, we explain how the dog's brain works and how it can be used for effective training. We then transfer the theoretical knowledge into practice through model situations.
