About event
Last year, Martina moved to Greece for 3 months and for 6 months to Italy to experience and deeper to study archaeological findings and monuments.
Specifically, she spent 5 weeks in Rome. However, he is still considering complementing the content.
During the one-hour non-lender 5.5 in the boiler room at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at 19:00 we will be transferred to the streets of this spectacular city. Using photos and maps we will go through a 3-hour pedestrian circuit, beginning and ending at the beginning of Rome's glory to the Forum Romanum.
On this road we will experience architectural monuments from antiquity to 21st century, engineering miracles, sculptural velves, mulled wine, and baroque coup. We will get to know the typical ancient buildings- basilica and temple, and their further development.
We will see the works of the Renaissance, we will stop briefly in the Vatican. In the middle of the road, we will refresh ourselves by the Tiber River to handle the controversial building of the Ara Pacis Museum by Richard Meier. This let us be carried away by the dynamics of Baroque and Caravaggi, Bernini and Michelangel.
We will end the journey at the Coliseum, paradoxically, my biggest surprise from Rome. Whether their function is original or changed, these places are part of everyday Rome, serve people, evidence of amazing human abilities, and their beauty can be breathtaking.
