What does everyday life look like where the sun doesn't rise above the horizon for weeks? Where temperatures drop to -30 °C and the night sky is lit up by the magical aurora borealis?
Mirka and Marcel – Duo Travel Monkeys, travelers from Košice who have been exploring the world for the past 3 years and have already visited more than 25 countries, will take you on an unforgettable journey to northern Norway – the land of extremes, wild nature and powerful experiences. It was here that they spent up to 8 months beyond the Arctic Circle.
They experienced the polar night, met majestic moose, watched whales, tasted traditional reindeer food and admired the dancing northern lights almost every day in the northern lights capital.
Come and hear authentic stories of life in harsh but charming conditions, get to know the local culture and find out what all work and everyday life in the north entails.
