Tomáš and Janka fell in love with Australia so much that they settled there for several years and even started a family there.
They tried life in bustling Sydney, but also in a house on the beach in the sleepy Gold Coast.
About how a Slovak family lives on the other side of the world in one of the most developed countries, where you go to work with a surfboard under your arm and buy kangaroo slices in the supermarket, where spiders bigger than a man's hand live and the sweetest ones grow manga, our dear neighbors Janka and Tomáš Rak will come to talk to us. 🥰😘
You will be able to tell them how Australian education works from kindergarten to university, the local health system, what is a typical Australian diet or how the local community dealt with the trauma of the Aboriginal population.
< br/>The Crawfish have also promised us some genuine Aussie artefacts for viewing, including the traditional Aboriginal musical instrument didgeridoo.
You don't need to sign up for the lecture or even pay.
The traveler's lecture is part of the open day program of community organizations on Pekna cesta.
