About event
Martin Saba's travel lecture, combined with a projection and a discussion
During our talk, we will go to Kenya together - a land of savannas, wild nature and great contrasts.
We will go from busy Nairobi through the lakes and towns of Nakuru and Naivasha, to the national parks, where animals move in the wild as most of us only know them from documentaries.
And finally we will move to to the shores of the Indian Ocean to Mombasa, a city with a completely different atmosphere than the interior of the country.
We will talk about what it is like to travel around Kenya on your own, what can be experienced outside of the classic tourist ideas about Africa and what surprised us the most during the trip.
We will mention safaris in national parks, tea plantations and climbing the extinct volcano Mount Longonot.
If you are interested in what Kenya looks like from the point of view of cetaceans who have crossed it - from the savannah to the coast of the Indian Ocean - we will be glad if you join us for a moment.
