About event
CHAD WACKERMAN & THE L.A. ALL-STARS
The Impossible Rock Fusion Tour
Legendary drummer Chad Wackerman and the L.A. All-Stars are a unique example of incredible musicianship, chemistry and energy that should not be missed. This is a very rare opportunity to see this group of contemporary musical heavyweights perform together on the same stage.
Chad Wackerman, Alex Machacek, Jimmy Haslip and Steve Hunt will perform their own compositions, selections from well-known collaborators such as Allan Holdsworth and the Yellow Jackets, as well as some of the absolutely craziest, most breathtaking, inimitable, one-off, improvised jams and spontaneous compositions that you have actually been a part of must.
Chad Wackerman is best known as the drummer who recorded and toured with Frank Zappa the most and for his long-standing collaboration with guitar icon Allan Holdsworth.
Alex Machacek (guitar) is the master guitarist of the next generation. Alex has played with, among others, Terry Bozzio's "Out Trio", Brand X, Eddie Jobson's UKZ, Planet Jimmy has also worked with Allan Holdsworth and is a world class producer.
Steve Hunt (keyboard) has recorded and toured with Allan Holdsworth, Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham. Steve is a brilliant composer and improviser and an all-round strong creative force.
