About event
Dutch pianist and composer Joachim Challem, born in 1994, started playing the piano at the age of 8. While on a constant quest to explore life, Challem's music appeals to many for its honesty; it feels like his music can be read like a diary. His emotions, voice, movement and reactions are conveyed through his piano.
In 2022, Joachim Challem started releasing his first works, with great success. His music reached number one on the classical charts and has been streamed more than 15 million times across platforms. In addition to the support of Calm Radio & ClassicNL, Challem was a regular guest at NPO Radio 1 & NPO Klassiek, where he performed live and gave extensive interviews about his next releases. His new album 'The Road' is a story about giving direction and letting go at the same time. You can have a plan in life, but sometimes life has a plan for you. The dream lies in living it.
