We are very happy to announce the teachings of the Tibetan Buddhist teacher Chamtrul Rinpoche at the Tibet Open House in Prague.
The event will take place July 31 - August 2, 2026
The teachings are open to everyone, contributions are voluntary.
The teachings will be in English with a translation into Czech (if you need a translation, please bring headphones and a fully charged phone, It will be interpreted via the LiveVoice app. Please download it to your phone in advance. You can find it in both the Apple Store and the Play Store for Android)
PROGRAMME: Teachings of the Bard - Wandering Between Lives
Accept the teachings of the renowned Tibetan master Chamtrul Rinpoche. Rinpoche will teach the doctrine of the "three bards" - the key intermediate states through which our consciousness passes during the transition from one life to another.

Chamtrul Rinpoche
Chamtrul Rinpoche is recognized as the reincarnation of the second Katok Chamtrul Pema Nangsal Dorje Rinpoche of Mardo Tashi Chöling Monastery in Khatok. His first teacher was Naljor Yeshe Wangchuk Rinpoche, under whose guidance he devoted himself intensively to the practice of Tummo and Dzogchen. Rinpoche later studied at the famous Institute of Buddhist Philosophy - a shedra at Larung Gar in Sertar, Eastern Tibet, where he received the title of khenpo from his root guru, Khenpa Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche. Chamtrul Rinpoche then established a shedra at his home monastery, Mardo Tashi Choling, where he taught. In 1999, he settled in Dharamsala, India, and since then continues to teach students from all over the world.
