After their acclaimed debut record “Morning Ritual” (2023), Chartreuse return with their second album “Bless You & Be Well” and bring them Second album also live in Germany!
The new album was created in a remote studio in the north of Iceland, where Chartreuse spent two intensive weeks in the summer of 2024 between loneliness, connection and cathartic creativity. Produced by Sam Petts-Davies (The Smile), “Bless You & Be Well” shows a band that expresses their cohesion and their roots in friendship, family and music more strongly than ever before: “We wanted to make an album that sounds honest - raw, intense and who we really are as a band,” says guitarist and singer Mike Wagstaff. This energy is also reflected in the first single "Sequence of Voices", which Chartreuse presents live with a force that immediately captures the audience.
The four musicians - Mike and Rory Wagstaff, Hattie Wilson and Perry Lovering - take up personal experiences such as loss, illness and new beginnings in their new songs, without remaining heavy. Instead, the result is a sound that comforts, stirs and, above all, conveys one thing: the feeling of being part of a special community.
With their unique sound between experimental indie, organic warmth and intense emotionality, Chartreuse have already caused a sensation in Great Britain and have also enchanted the Haldern Pop Festival and the Heimspiel Knyphausen in the summer of 2025 - in February 2026 it is time to do the whole thing at three exclusive Germany shows to repeat!
