Check Point 25

The exhibition format Check Point in the KGP Gallery in Prešov will be presented on 9 October 2025 a selection of semester and final works of students and students of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Technology in Košice. The presented works were created within the studios of the Department of Fine Arts and Intermedia and reflect a wide range of approaches to visual art in the context of contemporary work. The exhibition offers an overview of diverse typological and genre positions - from painting, object and installation to performance and intermediate forms. Digital works created on the basis of 2D/3D graphics are also represented as part of the exposition. Thematically, works concern personal, autobiographical levels, but at the same time respond to current social, environmental and cultural issues. The interconnection of conceptual and technological thinking of students points out the profiling of individual studios and their ability to develop individual authorial strategies within the dynamically changing visual environment.
