About event
🎭 "Waiting for Godot" in Košice!
On December 16 at 5:00 p.m., the unique Theater-Studio of Immigrants "UZhIK" from Uzhhorod will visit us with its modern interpretation of the legendary play by Samuel Beckett.
This is not just a performance - it is a reflection on you and me. About how we sometimes get stuck waiting for "our Godot", postpone life for later, wait for the perfect moment... which never comes.
And the real meaning is in action, interaction and human warmth nearby.
Director Vyacheslav Egorov offers a bold and life-affirming reading:
✨ absurdity as a form of hope
✨ fragile balance between comic and tragic
✨ a new artistic experiment - a female image of Estragon, which adds other nuances to the relationship of the heroes and reveals Beckett's classic in a new way
📍 Košice
📅 16.12.2025
⏰ 17:00
🏛️ Hviezdoslavova 7, Radnica Starého Mesta
We invite everyone who loves the theater, reflections and living art.
This will be a performance that will be remembered for a long time.
