About event
Dj Kotlyk started playing sometime around the beginning of this millennium, when he and a group of like-minded friends bought turntables and tried to mix the first vinyls under the banner Pohon Crew. His life journeys then took him to Brno, where he started organizing and playing parties in local clubs with the aforementioned group (e.g. Vendeta, Break4Beats – Fléda, Breakmatch, BadAss – Perpetuum).
His musical sensibility drew him to breakbeat from the beginning, the variability and variety of which has always been his own. When playing, he prefers a relaxed funky break and likes the sound of producers like Stanton Warriors, Slyde, Bassbin Twins or Elite Force. The last time he made himself known was the BeatApetit show, which was broadcast on LoveMusic radio. Currently, he plays sporadically, but with all the more gusto he pulls out pieces from his asphalt collection. 🙂
