About event
"The first comedy that not only women but men love. In which they are not poisoned, like Malayan arrows."
You have certainly seen it or experienced it! A devoted husband hung with plastic bags, who runs after his shopaholic wife through the corridors of the shopping center. Today, it is a relatively common and characteristic image of the Saturdays of many married or partner couples. And it was against this chaos of the world and the division of tasks that three friends from our game decided to rebel.
"Shopping centers are our way of the cross! Shopping Saturday is our Good Friday!"
A trio of successful and confident mature men, declared "world champions" in tricks and recipes for a happy marriage, talk and enjoy themselves in their "boy paradise". They secretly found it and arranged it in the underground premises of one of the shopping centers. Their desires are actually quite simple: to quietly drink beer, watch football on TV and assemble a chain of can lids, the length of which aspires to be entered in the Guinness Book of Records. When the three friends are surprised in their hiding place by the fire guard of the building in the person of the fireman Mário, it is not so difficult to get him on their side. He is another of the dissatisfied husbands of this world. Together, in a new lineup, they begin to devise a strategy to survive the "shopping frenzy" of their significant others as efficiently as possible. And they get a typically male idea.
A keyhole look into the world of men, where women are primarily dealt with!
Liberating humor, a funny story, bursts of laughter await you. Dancing and singing. Tears of laughter. Heroes you know intimately... Or are them yourself! A theater evening full of humor, relaxation and popular songs! Fun like no other! Actors like you don't know them!
A brilliant comedy with sparkling performances, famous melodies, surprising twists and unexpected humorous points.
The production successfully entertained the audience for twelve theater seasons at the Nová scéna Theater Bratislava.
premieres: September 18 and 25, 2024
usual length show duration: 2 hours 50 min. (including one 15 min. break)
The show is suitable for viewers aged 15 and over.
