About event
Chris Cohen is an indie rock, pop psychedelic artist who became known for his stellar role in Deerhof and his own art-rock act The Curtains, prior to production and session work for the likes of Weyes Blood, Kurt Vile, Le Ren and Marina Allen. He released three albums of complicated pop about: dealing with family feuds, navigating advanced age and understanding social ills. But now it's time for his first solo album in five years, 'Paint a Room '. On the album, Cohen's music feels like a warm spring breeze, easy to love and soft to feel. But it often carries something heavy with it, as if blowing in from an invisible storm cloud.
