30. the anniversary of the birth of the solo artist from Prešov - Chris Ellys, will bring an evening of intimate planes and a mental landscape, where the ability to move in one's own direction is reborn. The never-ending journey of the Prešov nomad will bring songs from the upcoming debut album. The tension between silence and noise will be completed by the Košice duo The Wildflowers, who sing songwriting in both English and Slovak with a dose of authenticity and emotion, aimed at making the listener think.

🌿CHRIS ELLYS - Slovak songwriter moving at the intersection of folk intimacy and Dylan introspection. His songs arise from the silent breaks of everyday life - morning shifts, waiting and moments in which a person encounters his own responsibility for the reality in which he lives. Sensitive guitar work and husky baritone build on minimalism, which opens up space for atmosphere, inner movement and attentive listening. The author grows out of the Anglo-American folk tradition (Dylan, Hansard, Rice), but filters it through Central European melancholy, bluesy phrasing and conscious work with silence. Their musical genre is singer-songwriter with elements of pop, where they focus mainly on songwriting, authenticity and emotion in both Slovak and English. With their lyrics and melodies, they lead the listener to think. Their work radiates a certain kind of melancholy and at the same time a hope that touches them and they believe that they will be able to touch all people with it.
