About event
"An unusual and exciting night." We wrote that in 2013, when we first received Chris Thile, which a year later repeated duo with Brad Mehldau. Because a single of this member of the Nickel Creek trio and the quintet The Punch Brothers, and regular collaborator of artists such as the aforementioned Mehldau and Yo-I Ma, is really a unique opportunity. This "strange being: a complete musician" (The Guardian) and "Musical genius that challenges all gender definition" (NPR) proposes a program that will include, of course, selections of his albums dedicated to the sonatas and games of Johann Sebastian Bach, but also incursions into folk and popular music, all seasoned by a constant improvisation from the stage. What a joy, really, reunite with Chris Thile.
