About event
A heavy stomach from cabbage and potato salad is no excuse! Take advantage of this unique opportunity and come and spend it on Thursday, December 25th at the 263 club in Prešov, where a concert by the fantastic Christina Mantis will be held, combined with her legendary DJ set, which Christina will play for you this time directly from her mobile phone!
Christina Mantis is a Slovak musician, characterized by original songs and texts representing honest, sometimes sarcastic statements about her poor personal life. In her work, she deals with the themes of women in society, international and interpersonal relations, as well as the everyday revolution that each of us can make. Since childhood, she has been influenced by rock'n'roll, soul, punk and the unforgettable Košice dancefloor of the 90s. Her debut music video for the song Set me free it was released in February 2024 and, in addition to Slovak radio stations, it was also played by the American iHeartRadio, which permanently changed her, until then, equally miserable professional life. In October 2024, she released a music video for the song He doesn't mind, which also appeared on her debut EP, released at the beginning of February. Among her other successes, we certainly cannot miss the fact that this year she became the winner in the Discovery of the Year category of the Radio_Head Awards and in November of this year with her group she completed an infamously successful European tour, on which she became fabulously rich, which provided her with the opportunity for many years to entertain herself by playing small concerts for a narrow circle of her most loyal fans. We look forward to seeing you!
