About event
We invite you to the fifth in a series of discussion evening Tuesdays with a live reading of the book The Lame Deer on the topic of the value of sacred places and what is and is not for sale.
In our society, the topic of a personal, own approach to spirituality is starting to appear more and more often. An approach that comes from within a person and is common to all people. A deep, helpful personal faith that does not divide us but naturally connects us.
In the Midwest of the United States live a people, the Lakota, whose faith is democratic and decentralized. Its basis is a set of given rules that allow everyone to have their own vision, and therefore their own spirituality. The essence is faith in the Great Spirit, which is everywhere and in everything.
Are you interested in how and why exactly these people and their faith can inspire us Europeans?
Let's go through reading the book The Lame Deer together, which will inspire us and accompany us to a debate on the topics that will appear when we read together and will naturally touch our own spiritual practice.
If any of the following questions arise in your life, the meeting with Lame Deer is just for you.
• What is spirituality for today?
• What is my spiritual practice?
• How can I implement spiritual practice in everyday life?
• What is the significance of the spiritual experiences I experience for my life?
• What can the Lakota worldview inspire me?
You will be accompanied by an illustrator, publisher and translator of the book Lame Deer and their Precious Guests.
