A ronan seeks to regain his stature, but the road to redemption is a long, bloody trail leading straight to Hell. DEMONS is an existential horror, a nightmare, by experimental filmmaker Toshio Matsumoto (Funeral Parade of Roses). Drowning in shadows, this violent and chilling adaptation of a 19th century kabuki play is a methodical, visually absorbing descent into metaphysical chaos.
