About event

The first exhibition of the eighth year of the cursor gallery led by the curatorial pair Tomáš Knoflíček and Kateřina Štroblová will present the works of Juliana Höschlová, Pavel Jestřáb, Martin Kochan,
Martina Kubica, Tereza Samková, Jiří Šigut, Šárka Zahálková and Martin Zetová. Ernst Jünger's text of the same name represents walking through the forest by a metaphorical expression of defiance against the growing technological and political totalitarianization of modern society. The forest pedestrian is ready to resist the autism of contemporary civilization, its power tools and technical innovations, which lead to reinforcement and ultimately the loss of freedom of choice. The same status is also accepted by eight authors who, instead of a direct, pre-set way, give a space of wandering and doubts as a prerequisite assumption.
