Isabella (Barbora Bobulová) was a star of the nineties - she was eighteen, with a captivating voice and an album that dominated radio and television for one summer. But then there was silence. Twenty years later, her songs are still heard, but only in a small provincial club, where she performs with her son Bruno (Alessandro Piavani), who accompanies her on guitar.

Their relationship is extremely strong, sometimes even suffocating – they stand against the world side by side, bound by memories and old grievances. However, everything changes when Bruno meets Arianna, the charismatic leader of a young rock band. The desire for freedom, dreams of a new beginning and old, unhealed wounds will gradually disturb their fragile balance. Isabella and Bruno will thus be forced to confront their own past and the music that defined them.

A story full of music, emotions and family tension sensitively shows how difficult it is to find a balance between love for loved ones and the desire to go your own way.

Cinevitaj's film tour brings a retrospective of her most awarded films. The event is part of the 19th year of the Italian festival in Slovakia Dolce Vitaj and is also part of the Fare Cinema initiative, which is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic.
