The Emperor's New Clothes
The production The Emperor's New Clothes is subtitled a baroque crazy comedy for children from three years of age. Why baroque? Well, because a replica of a baroque theater with everything that belongs to it has grown right on the stage. Portal columns decorated with sculptures, red curtain, beautiful painted changing side ceilings and horizon, perfect magical lighting, smoke and replicas of period costumes. Why crazy? Well, what can be more crazy than when Andersen's fairy tales are mixed up and their protagonists save or kill their fellow fairy tales? And why comedy? Because Šimon Spišák, the director of the production, can "extract" humor, wit, kindness and humanity even from the saddest subject.
And something else! It is a production that speaks to children in their language and the children really understand it.
Therefore, do not hesitate and come and see the Emperor, his Chamberlain, the Girl with the Matches, the Snow Queen and the mysterious "Aunt" Božena. We look forward to seeing you. Entertainment guaranteed not only for children, but as is customary in the New Theater, also for adult viewers.
