About event
This year's final concert of the Ensemble Opera Orchestra Late is freely followed by the “elementary” concerts of the ensemble. The Czech premiere of American John Luther Adams and Scandinavian authors Knut Nystedt and Einojuhani Rautavaary together with the early work of Miloslav Ištvan in a dramaturgically comprehensive concept brings a sense of snow in a dramaturgically comprehensive concept. However, the umbrella name of the concert is inspired by a literary model - the novel The Cites of Miss Smilly for the snow of Danish author Peter Høeg in 1992. The book is known for its cold to existential atmosphere and original interconnection of detective story with ethnography, climatology and identity issues.
In front of the orchestra, Patrik Čerák returns after an almost two -year pause, and in the introduction the Harphenist Dominika Kvardová will perform in the introduction.
Program: Arctandriae for strings (1991) Czech premiere
Einojuhani Rautavaara: Suomalain Mythti Pro strings (1977) Czech premiere
Miloslav Ištvan: Winter suite for loops, piano and drums (1956)
Harfa
Ensemble Opera Diversa, Head of Orchestra - Jan Bělohlávek
Patrik Červák - conductor
