About the author
Anna Sedykykh comes from Vyšnevo in the suburbs of Kyjiva. She is a graduate of mass media communication at the University of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava and literary science and comparatics for the Kyjivivian Academy in Kyjiv. She worked in the Municipal Library in Bratislava as a librarian, lecturer and dramaturgist, in the Bratislava City Gallery and the Museum of Bratislava as a translator. She currently works as a production and dramaturgist in the cultural center Malý Berlin in Trnava, where she focuses mainly on the Ypsalon literary festival and events on Ukraine. In the same year she attended a creative writing course at the University of Iowa and a year later she participated in the residence and workshops of Propysy in Ivano-Frankivsk, under the auspices of the Ukrainian PEN organization. Created texts were published in the anthology of Propysy 2024.
