We cordially invite you to the 16th year of the reverent event:
Reading the names of the Holocaust 2025 victims, under the auspices of the Public Defender of Rights. hod. We seek to return to every person whose life has been violently interrupted, his name, identity and human dignity.
👉 They were our neighbors, friends, fellow citizens. Deported, taken against their will, labeling by number and deprivation of everything that made them unique people. The first wave of deportations of 1942, when almost 58,000 people were taken from the territory of the then Slovakia. Every name is a story.
Nadežda Lambert
was born during the Holocaust and as a baby she had to hide with her mother in Banská Bystrica, in the mountains and in the village of Baláže. Today she works as a teacher, translator and leads the Košice group The Hidden Child - a hidden child, considers it the obligation to spread the testimony of the Holocaust. Liz has devoted himself to education for his entire life and, after retirement, examines and publishes the history of his family and publishes them. As a member of the British Czech-Slovak society, she tries to preserve the memory of the victims and highlight the Slovak Holocaust dimension. Vivian writes and publishes the intergenerational transmission of trauma as well as the power of memory. With her texts, he combines a personal story of a mother from Slovakia with her own experience of life in the US and the UK. The event is open to the general public. and truth and love, OZ.
