Citim împreună, BiebROței! Ateliere distractive de lectură

For the last OBA reading workshop this year, we have prepared a series of surprises for you. Among them, the fact that we will have as a guest the author of children's books K.J. Mecklenfeld.

K.J. MECKLENFELD (Cristina Mecklenfeld-Corduneanu) was born, grew up and studied in Iasi. Although he always liked books and stories, he attended a technical faculty at the University "Gh. Asachi" from her hometown, her dream of becoming a writer was fulfilled a few decades later, in 2013, when she made her debut in literature with the first volume of the Aventurile lui Hendrik de Mol series. Reissued in 2015 with the title Hendrik de Mol and the Golden Planet, this first volume was soon followed by the second, Hendrik de Mol and the Jade Planet, then the Dutch translation of a very popular children's book - Miss Meow, and many short stories in anthologies, of which Îblânzitorul de zmei was awarded at the "Ion Creangă" national competition for literary creation. K.J. Mecklenfeld has lived in the Netherlands for twenty years with her husband and their Dutch Shepherd named Totoro, and continues to write adventure books for children ages 9 to 99.
