Prague Climate and Society cafe is a group aiming to bring together people with interest in discussing issues related to climate change and the coping of societies in the Anthropocene — the current geological age where humans are the biggest driver of geological and ecological change.

Our events are a healthy discussion forum, open to people from all backgrounds, that aims at providing the time and space for new thoughts to emerge, and ideas to spread.

At our cafes, you can expect a variety of topic proposals from participants — perhaps even from you! Selected topics will be spread across a few tables, each accommodating a maximum of five individuals to encourage intimate conversations where everyone has a chance to speak. Participants and also free to move between tables or engage in parallel chats at the bar.

Think of a topic that drives you, then bring it to the cafe for us to have a relaxed and engaging discussion about it. We look forward to welcoming you to the cafe!
