About event
Clipping. Is the project of rapper Daveed Diggs and producers William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes. The trio makes uncompromising hip hop in which narrative texts and experimental productions come together into a mix of noise, rap and science fiction -like themes. Their work was nominated twice for a Hugo Award, the most important prize for science fiction literature.
The album 'Dead Channel Sky' received with many praise. Returned earlier this year and clipping. The large draft plates for a mixtape-like collection of tracks. Hip -hop history and cyber punk culture melt together into something new. The atmosphere breathes the energy of the eighties and nineties, when Genres left their stamps as a triphop, rave and drum & bass on the underground.
