The wife of a famous writer becomes suspicious of who is the female inspiration for his new novel.
One day, Caroline reads her husband, the successful novelist Guillaume's novel in progress, and can't believe her eyes. The hero of the novel about an extramarital affair between an aging man and a young, attractive girl bears a serious resemblance to the author himself. And he even guesses which girl it might be. When longtime friends Éric and Sylvie come over for dinner, Caroline decides to confront the men with her suspicions. This will result in a big fight full of polished dialogues and twists. Life and art can copy each other...
