In the wooded mountain landscape there are exceptional monuments such as hillforts, castles, castles, cairns, but are relatively sparsely scattered. Its remaining part was mostly empty spaces from the archaeological point of view. However, using air laser scan data has changed that view for archaeologists has changed fundamentally. This also applies to legends with the talked mountain range Tribeč. Thanks to systematic archaeological research in recent years, the Tribeč Mountains are one of the best explored mountains in Slovakia. There are a number of unknown field units, which are traces of numerous and diverse activities after the use of mountains and creating a cultural country in the past. for research of the extinct cultural country and the protection of the archaeological heritage, archaeologist Mgr. Peter Bistak, PhD. (Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic) in cooperation with Mgr. Petra Kmeťová, PhD. (Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic) and Geodet Ing. Tibor Lieskovsky, PhD. (Slovak Technical University).
