Čochtan vypravuje

Based on the musical "The Miracle Cauldron"

Come and enjoy the timeless classic by Jiří Voskovec and Jan Werich, which is brought to life in this special adaptation by the unforgettable Josef Dvořák.

The story takes us to the fictional South American state of Missitucky, where a comedy full of unexpected twists takes place. It all starts when Jihočech Josef Novák "borrows" Třeboň's waterman Čochtan his precious pot full of gold before leaving behind a large puddle. However, Novák's naive belief that the treasure will provide him with easy wealth and a carefree life for his daughter Káča will come up against reality. The pot has the magical power to grant wishes, which leads to a series of dramatic and comic plots.

The miraculous pot, however, is not just an ordinary fairy tale. It is a story about human desires, dreams and problems that are close to all of us.

Come and experience an evening full of humor, beautiful music and the unmistakable performance of Josef Dvořák.
