The first half of the 18th century was a very interesting period for both Vio Gamba and cello. Corelli's collection of violin sonata op. 5 was undoubtedly the most popular collection of chamber music of 1. The middle of the 18th century. Giovanni Battista Bononcini, among other things, the cellist, is one of the first generations of authors to write solo compositions for cello. The program is complemented by two sonatas by authors who released their cello compositions by printing in Paris - in the city that was truly key in the concert life of both of these tools.
