About event
This is the second in a series of four workshops on how to be a better writer, led by Joe Lennon, a poet and essayist who has taught creative writing for over 20 years.
We’re calling this one “the anti-Romantic poetry workshop.” Maybe you’ve always been mystified by poetry and thought that it wasn’t your thing. Or maybe you already love poetry, and would like to explore some new ways of making it. Either way, this workshop is for you.
Joe will show you how to do some strange and surprising things with words, and you’ll leave the workshop with a few new poems of your own, and a new understanding of what poetry can be (that isn’t trapped in the 19th century)!
You don't need to have attended the previous workshop to enjoy this one.
Workshops will be at the Brno Expat Centre. This is a free event (donations for ink accepted but not expected). Space is limited; please contact [email protected] to sign up.
