The Koopkultur team warmly invites you to the two-day Commons of Care Lab!
The Commons of Care Lab invites you to explore together what care can mean as a shared practice and as a possible commons.
On two days, spaces will be created for body-based exercises, textile and artistic practices, cooking together, drawing, conversations and encounters, as well as for the question of how care can be shared, designed and experienced together.
This Lab marks the conclusion of “Sharing to Empower”, a multi-year project (2023-2025) that has created spaces in Berlin for exchange, encounters and collaborative work between people who were displaced by the war in Ukraine and local communities, initiatives and schools.
Participation is free of charge.
So that we can plan the cooking sessions well, in particular, we ask for a short registration:

DAY 1 — November 22nd (11:00 - 20:00)
• Embodiment & Voice
Body-based practice on movement, resonance and shared presence.
With Alona Konovalchuk & Mykyta Burenok
• Care as a Practice of Enveloping
Textile work: sewing, printing and the design of shared material traces.
With Anastasiia Hrychkovska
• Caring Companion
Participatory installation on stories and gestures of care.
With Anastasiia Pasichnyk & Valentyna Saliukhina (UCC)
• Cooking with Mama (4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
Culinary-political practice on food, memory, resistance and solidarity.
With Marina Israilova, Mariia Vorotilina, Sashko Protyah & Tanja Sokolnykova (Political Kitchen)
