About event
Commuter are coming to Prague, at the stage of Beats from Basement, for the first time, as part of their first "Guilt Eraser" European Tour, in Spring of 2025.
commuter (GR)
Commuter is an Athens-based post-punk quartet known for their energetic live shows and their recently released debut album, Guilt Eraser.
They stand out with their raw, noise-infused post-punk sound, drawing on cultural influences from both sides of the Atlantic. Their music conveys the anguish of everyday life in a society that is slowly falling apart.
With their simple, no-frills approach and intense stage energy, they have already made their mark on the scene – sharing the stage with bands such as Dry Cleaning, Protomartyr and Heavy Lungs among others.

River House (CZ)
The band River House was formed in 2021 by the three original members of the emo-hardcore band Cumulonimbus (2010 - 2021). Marek Strnad performs vocals and bass, Tomáš Lžičař plays guitar, and Ondra Kuthan plays drums.
During the COVID era, less and less screaming and more and more melodies began to come from the rehearsal room under the Jizera Mountains, which resulted in the need to separate new work, embark on an untrodden path under a new name, and break free from genre-defined procedures.
River House launched themselves with three singles during 2021-23 and play guitar-based songs full of reverb effects and analog saturation with lyrics about personal battles and emotions.
