In just a few months, The Last Dinner Party have gone from the dark pubs of East London where they used to perform to stages in arenas and theaters around the world. Courted by the biggest record labels, agents and producers, the quintet is only at the dawn of a long and brilliant career, while guitar rock seems to be experiencing a renaissance.
Composed of Abigaille (vocals), Aurora (keyboard), Georgia (bass), Emily and Lizzie (guitars), The Last Dinner Party weaves fantastic and moving melodies, based on explosive choruses and lyrics that are both tragic and triumphant. The band's debut album, 'Prelude To Ecstasy' (Polydor/UMF), released on February 2, 2024 included the catchy tracks 'Sinner' and 'Nothing Matters' and rose to the top of the charts in the UK and around the world entire. A real critical success: “a beautiful invitation to musical ecstasy” according to Le Monde, “a talent which manifests itself both on record and on stage” for Rolling Stone France.
After a first sold-out concert at La Maroquinerie, The Last Dinner Party are back for two dates in France in 2024: October 28 at the Olympia in Paris and November 5 at the Modern Grocery Store in Lyon.
